Herron Custom Paint

Back
This guitar came to us bare wood. We sanded and primed it. Then blocked and reprimed it. Then sanded it for paint.
I started off with a bright yellow base. Then I sprayed gold pearl over it. Then I layed out the first set of flames using neon green and organic green candy.
After the first set of flames were done I laid out the second set using Orental blue candy with a touch of black mixed in. Over the bright yellow this made the flames a really dark green.
After the flames were done I put really fine silver flake in the  1st coat of cler then strait clear on the second coat. The next day I sanded it down to remove tape lines and recleared it. There was 9 hours in this job.
