Herron Custom Paint

The tanks and fenders. These parts had been painted a couple of times there was alot of paint to strip off. This job took a total of 78 hours to complete.  
The right tank. The torquoise color is Dupont Chromabase GS742K. The Cream color is Dupont Chromabase N8873K. The gold pinstripes are House of Kolor pinstripe paint. 
The left tank. All parts were sprayed torquoise and cleared first. Then they were sanded back down and the cream was sprayed on. Then the gold stripes. Then cleared again. Then sanded and polished.  

These parts were all stripped to bare metal, bodyworked, primed blocked a couple times and wetsanded. They were sprayed with Dupont Hot Hues sealer. Then painted.

 
After painting and clearing all parts in torquoise I wetsanded everything down and painted the cream color on. Then pinstriped in gold and shot four more coats of clear on all the parts.  
After the torquoise base was on I cleared all the parts with three coats of Dupont Hot Hues 5400 clear.  

The saddle bags. The paint is Dupont Chromabase with Dupont Hot Hues 5400 clear.

 
The fenders. The rear is a hinged fender. That was kinda tricky to paint. All parts have been polished to a glass finish. You can not feel any pinstripes or tape lines. The pinstripes were cleared over too.

Here is what it looked like when I got it. These parts have alot of paint on them.  
The fenders, tanks, and bags were stripped. After sanding off what we can we blast the other areas. There was some bodywork to be done.
